Countdown to Commencement:
don’t forget that the Career Fair is on September 16th! Here are some helpful tips for making a great impression:
👔 Dress for success! Business casual or business formal clothing will help you come across as more polished, and helps make a great visual first impression. Bonus tip - a little pin or accessory can be a great conversation piece!
📝 Come prepared! Take a look at the employers who will be in attendance, and prepare some notes or questions to discuss with the recruiters. Plus, keep track of who you spoke to so you can find them on LinkedIn or reference them in applications.
📧 Follow up! If you had a great conversation with an employer, make sure to get their email or business card and follow up with them after the fair. Thank them for their time, remind them of what you discussed, and ask a question!
