Workshops & Events Built For You
The home stretch is finally here. After years of late-night study sessions, early-morning coffee runs, and everything in between, you’ve made it to your Senior Year.
While this is a season for celebration and well-earned victory laps, it’s also a unique window of time. Senior Year, especially the spring, is an opportunity to reflect on the journey you’ve taken and start looking toward the horizon. Transitions are rarely easy, but you don’t have to navigate the path beyond the Forest alone. That’s exactly why Out of the Forest exists.
We are here to bridge the gap between where you are and where you’re going. Whether you’re looking for guidance through our mentoring groups, seeking straight answers in our AMA sessions, or wanting to sharpen your skills in our workshop series, we’ve designed our programming with your future in mind.
Explore our upcoming programs below and let’s make sure you finish strong!

Senior Mentoring Groups: Small groups that provide a supportive space for seniors to navigate the post-grad transition through facilitator-led discussions and peer reflection. Over five sessions, participants gain practical resources and strategies to help them approach “the real world” with a clear plan and a solid support system.

Year One 101: Five workshops that encourage Seniors to start identifying those strategies and tools that will work for them after graduation. Each workshop lasts 90 minutes, and dinner will be provided.

Deacon Dive: Work, Life, & Finances After Wake: A conference-style workshop series designed to help seniors navigate the complexities of post-grad life, from managing finances to balancing a full-time career. Through practical sessions and insights from alumni, the program provides the real-world tools and reassurance needed to transition from Wake Forest to adulthood with confidence.
